Chapter Forty

Nessa slept off immediately after. I didn’t even get the chance to clean her up. She was sleeping peacefully, so I decided to let her be.

I went to the bathroom to wash myself and got dressed up. I got a text from Damon to meet him somewhere. He spotted the Farina brothers and wanted some sort of revenge for what they did to Ariana.

I dropped a little note for Nessa before leaving her alone in the hotel room. I made some calls, requesting backup.

Those brothers have been testing me and I wanted to teach them a lesson. I was ready to fight with my last strength. I wasn’t scared of them. I wasn’t scared of anybody.

I rushed downstairs to the car waiting for me. The other men were going to meet us there. It was kind of a secluded area that wouldn’t attract the attention of the cops.

We drove down there quickly, I didn’t want to miss them. We didn’t let them know we were there. When we got to the location, Damon came to the car and we waited for them to come out fr
