"How could you leave like that?" Luke asked, taking long strides towards me.

"Can you stop getting on my nerves already?" I asked. "You really weren't joking about me waiting for you to answer your phone?"

"I wasn't." He replied.

"My bad, young master." I eyed him. "Next time, ask me to wait on you while you use the toilet."

"Don't be so grumpy," He replied, draping his hands around my neck. "I'm clingy."

I cringed. This guy was dragging attention our way and didn't seem to be bothered. I poked him on the ribs to get him to release his grip on me but to no avail.

"You can't say something like that." I replied, agitated. "Isn't your homeroom the other way?"

I pointed in the opposite direction.

"Yes. But I'll see you to your class first. Walker isn't going to be in school today. So you're stuck with me for the rest of the day."

I sighed.

He was becoming overbearing.

"I'm not." I replied. "We share separate classes, lunch and we use different routes , how can we be stuck together?
