"Here." Nana said, offering me a drink with a smile.

"Thank you." I said quietly, retrieving the drinking glass. "Why's your name Nana?"

Quietly, she took the vacant space close to me on the patio and began.

"I've lived with the Walker's for over twenty years of my life. Ever since Sky was a kid and have served as a nanny to all of them." She told me. "I've been such a huge part of their life, that the kids forget I'm not even a part of their family. They're nice people."

I smiled, nodding my head.

"I came because Luke said Ruby asked me to." I confided in her, feeling more at ease with myself. "I've barely been one week here and I've known Ruby for a day or two?"

I ended my statement with a question mark, trying to recall if Ruby and I got to talk for two days at all. Or was it one?
