Waving Nana a final goodbye, I got in the passenger seat beside Luke and slammed the door so hard that he jerked in fright.

"What the fuck!!" He yelled. "What did you do that for?" He asked.

"Isn't that my line?" I asked.

"You got my heart skipping two beats there." He placed a palm on his chest.

"Honestly, " I gave him the I'm not joking look. "I don't like today's happenings at all."

"What are you talking about?" He feigned Innocence.

"Really?" I looked at him.

"Yeah."

I rolled my eyes. "Just drive. You're not worth stressing over."

"That hurt." He said, killing the engine and bowing his head over the steering wheel.

"Really? Just drive or I'm going to get out and walk!!" I yelled, getting agitated by the minute.

For emphasis, I got out of the car, slammed the door shut in his face and began walking to wherever.

Remembering that I'd left the cookies Nana gave in his car, I walked back and got them out.
