Abigail's p.o.v;"I'm telling you, Abby! I'm not gonna be here!" I shouted as loud as possible at the woman walking away from me in a huff, leaving behind what is most likely a very confused and pissed off looking girl. She turned back, gave me an exasperated look, but said nothing about it. It isn' like she even knew who I was, anyway. But then again, how can one really know someone when they don't say anything to them? How do they even know that it is the right person when there is no way of actually knowing that it is the same person they're talking about? What makes her different enough to stand out so much? If I was just a little bit smarter and more observant, maybe I would've realized what the hell I was doing in my stupid, self proclaimed love life. But alas, all that I could think about was getting outta dodge while I could, while still keeping myself safe and alive.I ran down the street, trying to get as far away from the scene as possible. I didn' bother checking if anyone
Abigail's p.o.v;The sun is setting in the window across my bed as I sit at my desk, pen in hand, and trying to figure out how to start the paper that I've been working on for weeks. My mind is going a mile a minute and nothing seems to be getting written. Finally, I give up and put down the pen. I have no clue what to say, or even where to begin.Just then, there' knocks on my bedroom door. I jump at the sound of it. "Yes, mom?""Sweetheart! It's time for dinner!" My mom calls from beyond my room.I groan inwardly. The last thing I wanted was to go downstairs and face everyone tonight. But since dad left home almost four months ago and my mother and stepfather got divorced, she's all by herself and doesn't know anyone else. She hasn't been eating well and is struggling with her weight issues and it's only going to get worse if we don't try and help her. So I reluctantly agree to go downstairs and have dinner with her."Hey, you." I call as I walk into the kitchen, leaning against th
Abigail's p.o.v;i got a call from Mike while i was getting ready for school today and well, he told me that he had found something.I'm really confused because we have no clue how to use the computer and it looks like it doesn't even work."I can tell you what it says but that is about all I can say." He said as he put his phone on speaker."What do you mean? How does it work?" I asked as I tried to figure out what kind of program it was."Well, basically when i turned it on, this little light above the screen came on and then it just kept scrolling." he explained."Okay. But how is it supposed to get us into the lab?" I questioned."I'm not sure. I was hoping that maybe if we could hack in, the password would be on here somewhere." he suggested."That doesn't sound like much of an option." I stated before realizing that maybe it wouldn'T matter that much after all we've already broken into places. We might not need the door codes or the passwords or anything but Mike's right there
Abigail's p.o.v;It had been weeks and we were all getting close to going stir crazy and I mean that in every sense of the word, so when my friend Hannah comes over with her boyfriend after a long day at school, I can't help but smile at her as she walks into my apartment and sits on the couch, not even acknowledging me. She has this look about her which is so unlike herself, she usually doesn't get like this unless something big was happening. It's not until Hannah starts to say things like "Do you want coffee?" and ask how my week was, I finally snap out of it because Hannah never does anything for no reason. "Hannah," I say gently, placing my book down on the table as I turn to face her, "What's wrong? We're friends...I'd do anything for you." I pause before asking, "Please tell me what happened, maybe this time I'll be able to help." "This isn't your business Abby." she replies shortly. I don't know why she thinks it is or what I could possibly have done that would make someone
Abigail's p.o.v;Mike asked me, Do you think this will work out?"I look up from my book and blink. It was late in the afternoon now, but I'm still awake and just finished a few chapters of a series I've been trying to get interested in for ages."Uh, well it might? Why do you ask?" He shrugs."It doesn't matter why, just answer honestly."I put down the book and sigh. We're sitting at our usual table in the cafe, having our lunches. I don't like where this conversation is going."Well, I'm not sure, really. What do you think is gonna happen?"His lips pull up in an amused smile."We'll probably both die, if that doesn't happen first." He laughs, then continues, "But what if there were some sort of chance, we could be happy? If we could make things work with each other. Like, you know, if I proposed to you and everything? And we got married or something?"My eyes widen. That wasn't exactly the reaction I was expecting."You mean like a relationship between us?""Yeah!" His voice take
Abigail's p.o.v;I'm sitting on my bed with my knees tucked up to my chest and a blanket pulled around me for comfort, I don't feel like going out tonight or tomorrow, but maybe when I get back from school I'll have some plans for the next few weeks. My parents are off at a work trip so we' re home alone tonight for dinner. Mom said she'd be back before midnight and Dad will be home after lunch tomorrow as well, he won't be gone until later that evening."Hey honey." My mom enters my room with a tray in her hand, "Your father asked me to bring this over. He says to give it to you when you wake up." She sets the tray down on my desk next to the phone on my nightstand. The tray is filled with food, two plates of spaghetti, meatballs, corn on the cob, and a bowl of salad. My stomach growls audibly making mom chuckle. I roll my eyes and take a bite of my burger, not bothering to thank her. Mom walks into my bathroom, shutting the door behind her. I set my meal aside and look at my homewo
Abigail's p.o.v;The amusement park was really fun to go on rides in, especially when you knew they could get stuck. But the only thing more fun is a good time with your friends. And I've always had my eye on one of those best friends, the one who gets to take me places and makes me feel special. The one who makes me feel special It feels like we're still at it So if this keeps up I might just ask for his hand. I know there is no way he'll say yes, since he has that other girl. And even if he did, I couldn't ask him out cause of her. It's not fair to the other two, so if he doesn't agree to be my friend forever then at least I'll be happy to try. And maybe I'll have to do a lot of research into dating before we can actually date, but I think he might like that. And then there' s my motherShe thinks I'm too smart for my own goodBut she says there's nothing wrong with studying hard for a scholarship or whatever it is that college doesAnd I guess that means that I should study h
Abigail's p.o.v;After i talked with Sebastian, I went home. After about 20 minutes or so of me sitting and scrolling through my phone, I started to get a bit nervous. I mean i was only supposed to talk to him about school work but I'm always a bit nervous when we're alone together. The first few times he's come over I'M A KID! Then one day he kissed me in the kitchen at our house. I know I said it wasn't important but I think I'll remember that kiss. It was amazing and everything about him is amazing. It felt like there was electricity running through both of us. He held me in his arms and just stood there for a good while just looking at me and kissing me. I never knew a man could make me feel so loved. When he finally pulled away i wanted more than anything to lean forward and kiss him again. He looked at me smiling softly then gave me another quick peck on the lips. Before he left he told me that i look gorgeous and that if he got to see me in a dress one day he'd fall in love wi
