Chapter 41
Almost 5 hours later, the plane arrived in Wellington. The nostalgia that Warren felt when he saw the familiar surroundings put a smile on face. Although the circumstances in which he returned home wasn't ideal, Warren wasn't going to let it ruin Samuel and Henry's experience of Wellington. "Ah, so this is home for you," Samuel said jokingly. Warren nodded and said, "This is it."The three of them hailed a taxi to the Cole residence. After a 20 minute trip, they finally arrived in front of the house. "It doesn't look like much, but feel at home," Warren said. It felt unreal to him that his uncle and aunt were gone. The reality didn't sink in completely yet. That's why he tried to remain as positive as he can."I can choose any room I want, right? Since the house is legally yours now?" Samuel said. He tried to make Warren smile. Warren laughed and said it's alright. After all, the four bedroom house wasn't big, but it had enough rooms for all o

"You said her boyfriend broke your ribs, but you didn't have any broken ribs when you returned to Flemond. How do you explain that?" Samuel asked.  Warren didn't know what kind of explanation he could come up with. After all, saying that he was healed by a beggar who touched him, would sound preposterous, even for him.  "It doesn't matter anymore. What matters is that she believed I stole someone's necklace, when both her and you are supposed to know that I will never resort to stealing. You know how poor I am, but I would never disgrace myself or my parents like that!" Warren said.  Then it clicked to Samuel. He knew Warren was no thief. He would rather sleep on an empty stomach than steal some of Samuel's food. Not once in the years that they shared the same kitchen and living room, has Samuel ever lost something. If Warren was hungry, he would often ask Samuel first, but he never stole. So why would he steal a necklace.  "Her bo

"Wake up, Warren. You overslept!" a voice rang in Warren's ears. When he opened his eyes, he could see his room was brightly lit by sunlight.  Warren looked at the clock on the wall and it was alright past 9 o'clock. He still had to get ready so that they may leave for the graveyard at 10. Cassidy was probably already on her way. Warren jumped into the shower and got dressed quickly. Before he could eat the toasted bread and eggs which Samuel prepared, a knock on the door disturbed him. Henry rushed to open the door and was surprised to see a Cassidy standing there with another lady.  "Please, come in! We're almost ready to leave. We are just waiting for Warren," Henry said.  "Don't mind us. We will just wait outside. By the way this is my sister, Claire Evans," Cassidy introduced her sister. "The name is Henry Allen. Nice to meet you," Henry introduced himself.  Warren rushed out of the house, still half asleep and

"We had to clean up nicely. We couldn't embarrass you like that," Samuel said smoothly. "Smart answer," Cassidy said as she smiled. The three boys sat down and at that moment the food arrived. Since Claire and Cassidy arrived early, they took it upon themselves to order so long. If Warren and his two friends arrived, then the food would have been ready. They were right in thinking so."This smells delicious. Thank you for the food," Warren said. He was ravished since he rushed to get himself ready for the funeral. He never got around to eating. The meal was scrumptious and the company even better. When they were finally done, they waited for the waiter with the payment machine. Unlike the last time, Warren wasn't worried about who will pay for the meal. He knew that Claire and Cassidy will fight over the bill again, and if they couldn't afford it, he would just pay. After all, money wasn't a problem for him anymore.

Later that night, Warren was cultivating in his room again. He had to build up his strength if he could ever stand up against Charles Chamberlain. He knew his physical prowess would be enough to wipe out the whole Chamberlain clan, but he had another way to make them suffer. One that wouldn't get his hands stained with blood.  After he finished cultivating, he realized he was still at C-Class Mastery and he also didn't raise a level yet. With the power of a C-Class Master Level 4, Warren could take down at least 20 bodyguards at the same time without wielding a weapon. But he felt it wasn't enough. If his plan to destroy the Chamberlains were leaked and they retaliated, he would have a hard time defending himself.  Suddenly he had an epiphany. If he could use his connections as the son of Johnathan Parker, he could easily destroy the Chamberlains. Warren took out his phone and called Allison Banks. She answered immediately although it was almost 11 o'clock

Chapter 46
Back in Flemond, Christopher called an emergency meeting with his family. He had to let everyone know what happened. When everyone was present, the dejected Christopher looked around him and saw how smug Charles was still looking.  The Chamberlains knew that Charles slaughtered Warren's uncle and aunt, but it was an insignificant event in their eyes. It was not as if they haven't witnessed something like that before, so why would they be worried in the slightest. To add to that, Warren was probably the poorest student in Flemond University, so why would they even care about his retaliation.  "Before we start, I want to call my son, Charles forward," Christopher said. He had a somber look on his face and everyone was worried. Charles smiled, because he thought his father wanted to credit him for being so efficient in taking care of his enemies.  "Charles, is there anything you would like to tell us?" Christopher asked. He gave Charles the platfo

"I still have some money stashed away, so I think I can use it to invest in a company. That way we can gradually grow stronger again. I already think that The Heavenly Sky Diner would be a great investment. After all, me and Jack Lewis go way back," Christopher said hopefully. If he could get his hands on the restaurant, his financial flow problems would be solved instantly.  Christopher phoned Jack Lewis and told him about his proposal. Jack listened attentively to him, but he didn't accept his suggestion at that moment. He simply told Christopher that he would talk to the owner and get back to him. When Jack Lewis hung up, he immediately called Warren. Warren was quick to answer the phone. Jack told him about what Christopher suggested and he also thought it was a good idea.  Warren smiled when he listened Jack's explanation. That meant that everything was going according to plan. He instructed Jack to tell Christopher that he wouldn't accept anyt

"Are you sure? We can negotiate, it will not be too difficult to get a discount on the car," the salesman tried to explain. However, Warren was adamant in his decision. He wanted to pay full price for the car. He also wanted the salesman to complete the deal so that he may earn the commission since the lady was rude to him. The salesman got the necessary paperwork ready. The sales lady on the other hand were holding her breath, hoping that Warren couldn't afford the car. If he could, then that would mean she lost a huge customer and her colleague would get the commission that should have been hers. The salesman gave Warren the machine to pay. Warren swiped his card and entered his pin. There was a beep and the transaction was complete. When she heard that sound, the sales lady fell to the ground. She just lost out on 200 thousand dollars. That was the commission that her colleague received. Why was life so unfair to her.  Warren signed the contract and t

Allison blushed when she felt Warren's gaze all over her body. She simply tried to look the part, but it came as a surprise to her that Warren would gawk so openly at her. "I'm ready," she said awkwardly as Warren was still admiring her beauty. Warren came to his senses and remotely opened the door for Allison to get in. The two of them then drove in complete silence to the Heavenly Sky Diner.  Warren had everything worked out and Allison's presence was just an added bonus. It would serve as confirmation to the father and son that he isn't someone they should've messed with.  When they arrived at the restaurant, Warren helped Allison out of the car and parked it. The two of them entered the restaurant and Jack Lewis was personally there to welcome them. He was as polite as he usually was when he saw Warren, but he was a little bit nervous when he saw Warren came with Allison Banks. She was someone that even people of the caliber of Jack Lewi

"From what I can tell, they shouldn't have died in such a manner," Christopher responded.  "If it was you who was forced to watch the execution of, your son, for example, what would you have done?" Warren asked.  When Charles heard Warren's question he felt a cold shiver down his spine. He knew Warren was just making an example, but it somehow felt like a threat.  "I would hunt down that person and kill him. If that wouldn't be enough to satisfy my rage, I will annihilate his whole family!" Christopher said. Although he was angry at Charles currently, he would do everything in his power to protect his son. "Mr Chamberlain, I will let you know, the funeral of my uncle and aunt was tragic. We were only six people present, that's how small my family is. Of the six people, four were my friends and the other, the priest. So currently I'm alone. Do you know how I feel right now?" Warren asked again. This time his voice was louder and he was c
