Chapter 21: Vengeance
The school chime rings, indicating to the students that it’s time for lunch. They enthusiastically pack up their things, which is the precise inverse of mine. I ascent a deep sigh then inertly gathered my notes from my table. I waited for them to induce out some time recently. I trailed behind a swarm of students hurrying towards the school’s famous cafeteria.   Luckily, I survived and managed to get out of that place without getting crashed or hit by someone. As my vision stayed on the ground, I bit my lip, watching my feet step forward. I’m back at the university again. Some of my professors asked me how I had been because they had heard I was gone for a week. I just stated I got hit by a bus, and I managed to live.   Carls was unrefined quiet. There are times he would look at my way, but the minute our eyes locked, he’ll look away as if he had seen something horrendous. The colors of his face depleted, and whenever I tried to talk to him,

Chapter 22: Despondent
I woke up inside Nathan’s room. The treacly and musky scent of a man is trailing on my nostrils. Ethan must have brought me here after the incident. I lost consciousness again, and no vestige of him was seen in the corner of the room. I got used to his emergence and departure schemes. I’m glad he’s not here to make things worse as it is already. I got up, trying to sit straight, but my head was killing me. My stomach growled. How long have I been passed out? My legs wobbled when I tried to stand straight at the side of the bed. My arms are resting on the table. I breathed out a relief of air when I successfully stood up. When I tried to walk, I almost lost my balance, but good thing I managed myself. I inattentively looked down at the table when I felt a note was sticking out my fingers. I opened it and read what it said. “Eat your food. Change your clothes. Go to school. See you soon.”

Chapter 23: Expelled
My heart was throbbing intemperately, my palms were sweaty, and my muscles were cold. Even if I shook the anxiety away, that doesn’t stop my mind from thinking. I glanced sideways from my shoulders. I walked up through the school hallway, shooting a gaze at the person who’s been tailing me. His hands are inside his pockets, and his side profile is breathalyzing from this view. When he slowly peered when he felt I was watching him, our eyes clasped together in a moment when the objects around us suddenly disappeared, and he’s the only person I could vision. I slug down the lump in my throat. He’s observing me closely. I feel like I’m caught beneath his profound gaze, which can take any person’s breath away. I looked out and just focused my attention on the ground. I was maintaining a strategic distance from him. Reason? Well, there’s a lot to take down notes. He’s a serial killer. We all know se

Chapter 24: Pursue
The roaring noise of thunder deafened unto my eardrum. The wind harshly blew my hair, terpsichorean with the wind. My body is shivering from the coarse rustling of nature. I squeezed myself as I tried to keep intact on the ground, trying my best not to lose consciousness. I blew an abysmal breath. I focused my attention on the basis, trying to apprehend where I was heading. I don’t know anymore. I watched the raindrops fall on the sidewalk as the sky cried. The weather coexists with how I feel. I smiled bitterly when the rain worsened. I paused, then looked up. I didn’t blink as the rainfall unto my confront. I couldn’t feel the stinging notion in my eyes, and my vision was getting blurry, but I didn’t care anymore. I’m used to woe. Pain is my middle name. Agony is my best friend. “You’re fired!” the voice echoed inside my head. The slamming of the table made me flinched but not daunted. As I w

Chapter 25: Who says?
I gaze at the ceiling, my heart beating like a drum. My internal parts tumble, and my inner part between my legs is sore. I gradually looked down at the man gently resting on my stomach. His arms are resting over my right breast, measuring it like a bra. I breathed out an overwhelming sigh at that point played with his hair, dumbfounded.  His words are playing inside my head, like rehashed verses I have listened to from a song. Although, it’s clear what he is relating, still, I can’t acknowledge it. I have my reasons. A casualty and executioner don’t go along. Even though he set me free and chose to let me live my life, that doesn’t mean something is going on between us. I have questions. A lot of them, actually. Why? Why me? Why all of a sudden? Is he for real? Isn’t he joking? A cold-heartless murderer like him? I don’t want to judge since I don’t know his story. He’s hard to read. I kno

Chapter 26: Wager
I couldn’t walk conventionally. I feel unclothed, since, although I’m wearing this autoerotic dress Ethan bought for me. I can feel my highlights warming as oceanic crowds abruptly showed up recently. I swallow. A few men of their word look at my way. Their lascivious eyes didn’t cover up the reality they were gazing at me. My hands fixed around Ethan’s bear. When I looked up at him, his eyes were prominent. He looks at those men as if he’s prepared to go for a chase. I can hear the shuffling of cards. The chimes of machinery. The spinning of wheels. The low claps come from their group of onlookers. Men rule this place. My muscles tensed when Ethan snarled like an unhinged beast. I think the person to be blamed here is him since he brought me here in the first place. I think what’s this place, be that as it may, why? Why are we here? Does he know how to play those things? “Ethan.” I attempted t

Chapter 27: Catastrophe
“He’s going to lose.” “What is he thinking? Wagering for his wife? Is that a mad man?” “He’s doing it on purpose.” Ethan set down his wager. The group of onlookers puff, stupefaction because of the amount. Two cards were dealt with him by the trader. His brows wrinkled while scrutinizing the cards. My vision is getting dim due to my tears falling perpetually. I didn’t fight back as I just acknowledged the reality that he was gambling on me. He has chances of losing based on the mass reaction and unsatisfying scowls. “YES!” Alejandro punched his fist in the air. The sweats on his forehead are forming. His eyes are dilating with so much exhilaration. I lowered my eyes on the ground, watching my tears drop on the floor. The audiences are getting chaotic as they applaud and

Chapter 28: Today's News
He slammed me against the wall the minute we got home. He ravished my separated lips with his pernicious mouth. I couldn’t breathe. He pinned my hands over my head and spread my legs, making the dress reap off. I gasped, needing to halt him from getting wild, but he didn’t let me. Instead, he pushed his groin to my delicate portion. He was making my legs wobble, and my internal parts flip. I attempted to pry away my head from him, but he rapidly grabbed my jaw and made me look at him forcefully. “E-Ethan!” we need to talk. We can’t do it right now. I still needed answers from him. Why did he wager me? Why didn’t he let me know about gambling? Who are those people? He didn’t listen, as usual. What he wants, he gets. He ultimately annihilated the dress I was wearing at that point, looking down at my nakedness. His eyes shone brightly when the moon reflected his eyes. He was about to savage me when I sl

Chapter 29: Sergeant
He’s on a chase, again. He can’t survive without devouring someone’s blood and substance. I have to do something to stop this. The police are still on the look for him. They concluded that the suspect for the four missing people is Ethan in his wolf form. When they find out he’s a person who he’s cursed, the military will go search for him. My muscles were debilitated as I shook my head. “Natasha? What’s wrong, dear?” I gradually looked at Mrs. Johnson before I ran past next to her. She hollered at my name, asking where I was going, but I didn’t look back. I hastily went for my wallet and raged out of the loft. I didn’t mind if people looked at me like a runner doing a marathon. I need to get to him quick before somebody might see him. What is he even thinking? Why is he killing innocent people again? I thought he was going to change? “Hey! Watch it!&r

Chapter 30: Unconditional
“Ethan…” I attempted to call his name when we dropped at his house. Rather than confronting me, he turned away and was about to leave when I ran up to him and embraced him from behind. He stiffened when our flesh had contact. I buried my face behind his back, and my tears were swelling up. My arms tightened around his rigid torso as my breathing hitched. “E-Ethan, are you going to leave me again?” I sniffed when my nose clogged. Now that he’s calm down, I needed to go against him. I have many questions that have needed a few answers. Why is he gone for that long? For what reason he’s massive killing again? My heart beat quickened when he held on to my arms, and his claws were caressing my skin. I expected he would turned around to confront me and tell me everything, but it was the opposite. He let out an animalistic groan then pushed me away. The back of my head hit the wall beh
