BAELAI ended the night on a high, I was finally on the same level with the other Beta's! I was one of them now although I still could not transform into my werewolf and I lost at the arena games. I was back in my tent ready to call it a night but I couldn't fall asleep yet. I was charged up from the excitement of the evening to go to sleep yet. Chapter 124: At A Spring Pond
BAELAI was comfortable where I slept. The feel was different than most times. It was warm and slightly tender than the mat I was used to. I pressed myself more into it, enjoying every feel of it. It didn't take long before I decided to open my eyes and see what I was so drawn into in my sleep.I did and the first thing I realized was that I was seated upright, leaning into a body - a male body and the he had his arms wrapped around me.I think I knew who it was. BAELAI was done having a dip in the pond after a few times. I was refreshed and ready to step out. Everywhere was peaceful and quiet as expected and I stepped out of the pond with the water dripping from my body. BAELAAlpha Abbadon and I were back in the company of the other Beta's. It was no longer a surprise to them seeing how fond he had become of me. It seemed Alpha Abbadon and I were the only ones denying the obvious as we refused to come to terms with our new reality. BAELATonight the camp was less merry than it was yesterday but was still happy. It had been a successful day by all account although we were now less than a day's journey from this werewolf pack. Alpha Abbadon had concluded with all the Beta's that he and a selected few were going to keep watch over the camp tonight, to give us an extra pair of eyes and ears as I was allowed to spend the night in camp.Alpha Abbadon trusted my word that this was a safe place to camp for tonight but as an extra precautionary measure which I was against he was going to go out and scout with a few others.
