Amory’s period is a day late and the funny shit is she doesn’t even notice, and if she does she’s keeping it to herself. However, she does emphasize to me how tired she feels, so on Friday night when she wants to go down to the club I’m surprised. I know better than to tell her no though, but I do convince her to wear shoes with a smaller heel. Melanie sits with Stephany like she used to, while Amory and I head down to the club and right onto the dance floor. The staff move around us and clearly are working to impress her during this surprise drop-in, but she’s only here to have fun!Some of the regular patrons who have noticed our absence from the club approach us, particularly those who attend the karaoke nights. That crazed woman who used to try feeling up on me all of the time is here, but she keeps her distance. Likely since Amory clings to my chest while in my arms, or maybe because we’ve openly made out on the dance floor tonight, or it could be the picture of us kis
