　　That evening, Autumn decided to make dinner for them, as she thought of every possible way to make Perry go for the retreat once. Ever since she heard that he had never for once attended it, she felt obligated to force him to go, just that she had no way to.　　She was still mixing a couple of ingredients for their dinner when Perry walked into the kitchen in a loose top and shorts.　　"What's for dinner?" He asked as he walked in, calling Autumn's attention to him.　　Her back was in his direction while she faced the slab, on which she was slicing some cabbages and onions on a tray. When she heard his voice, she turned to look at him for a second, but instead, had a double take.　　She stared at his wet mane of mid-length dark brown hair. It was a beautiful sight to see.　　"I thought you complained about the shower?" Seeing that he just had a shower, she asked as she turned back to face what she was cutting.　　"Shit like that doesn't take long for me to fix. It's been fixed," he replied

　　The designer came a while later and brought out the different dresses. Autumn was overwhelmed by the number and wondered why Perry had to tell the designer to pick so many when she was only going to wear one.　　Perry told her to try on all the clothes so that he could pick his favorite one.　　She tried all the clothes, and after everything, he picked the first one, which was the one she also liked the most.　　The day of the ball finally arrived, and Autumn invited her sister, Elise, to come to help her out with a few preparations.　　Elise was a fashion enthusiast, so she was very excited to see her sister get ready. The white light then moved to both of them, making everyone's attention on them.　　"Ladies and gentlemen!" The MC called out from the stage. "Sir Perry Moore and his beautiful wife!"　　Autumn scoffed as others began to clap. "Beautiful, when he can't even see me?"　　"Won't you take my hand? Everyone's watching," Perry said to her, his hand still stretched out to her. She looked around briefly and noticed that he wasn't lying., she took his hand and they began to dance to the solemn song that was on.　　The lights moved to another couple as soon as they began to dance, and the MC introduced those, and it went on like that till almost everyone in the hall was introduced as they joined the dance floor.　　With the closeness between them, Autumn couldn't help but st
