Tantalizing crimson eyes and jet black hair were all Lily could remember in the features of the enigmatic young man who saved her ten years ago when she was kidnapped. One day, she accidentally saw him again after ten years in the middle of a busy street in an unexplainable situation. Time froze for few seconds, people around her stopped moving, and in his snap of finger defreezes time, as the car in front of him lose control and crashed with the nearby truck. She was left dazed by what had just happened in front of her. The scene shocked her and triggered her memory of him. "The guy who saved me was no human," she murmured staring blankly, remembering their uncanny encounter a decade ago. "Grim Reaper?" Confusion was written on her face. He shook his head. "Non, I am Doom, and I bring death to people." After the street incident, she couldn't forget his face and his lines kept replaying in her dreams like a broken tape which made her wonder if this was part of the after-effects of her trauma or if it was destiny that aligned their stars to collide.

Nothing much pretty will happen this day, I swear.Except that Doom will fetch me later after school. We left them speechless that night.Doom dragged me out of the scene before I lose the remaining inch of my temper.We were supposed to enjoy the rest of the night, strolling on a night garden that we were supposed to visit. I browsed further the pieces of evidence laid on the table, and I saw a photo of a rifle gun. In the picture, it was exposed to be hidden under the thick mat from the trunk of the car. The next photo was a load of bullets from that very same gun on the previous photo. It looked exactly the same as the bullets found on the treehouse and my balcony. Aside from that, another thing caught my attention. A photo of a gas mask on the bed allocated in the sleeping chamber of Alfred. Could it be?... At first glance, I can only think of Alfred immediately as the main suspect because he was after all the one being pointed by the evidences gathered here. It can be believable, yes but not enough to fool me. The pieces of evidence were too accurate to be real. And they missed out on that part in framing

That person didn’t even bother to use a silencer,” he analyzed as he realized something, “Should I escort you to your room, my lady?” he added. “Thank you,” I uttered as he started to escort me towards my bed. “Don’t worry too much, my lady.
