The strange lady felt that since she had a busy work schedule back home and her job was her only source of income, reporting to the Police would require staying back in Paris for a while but she had to return to work at all costs. Moreover, the guy that invited her had a powerful background and she thought of what if he used his influence to shut down the case or he implicates her wrongly. Who would she call to bail her out? She wasn’t from a well-to-do home so she had always done her things rightly without getting into trouble because she knew her parents didn’t have any connections in high places.

She decided to accept her fate and never return to Paris for anything. This was a tough decision for her as she knew she had French blood in her because she was told that she communicated fluently in French when she was a toddler. She had always hoped that one day when she would have made enough money, she would return to France to find her French root but could it mean that this regretta
