Chapter 16: Bloodlust

Trigger carried Kayle to her room. His shirt was getting wetter the longer he held her. Stopping at her door, he opened it and walked in, using his foot to shut the door. Striding to her bed, he laid her on the mattress and sat down beside her. Moving a strand of her hair away from her tear-streaked face, Trigger laid his palm on her cheek.

“I don’t know what to do, Trigger,” Kayle stated, grabbing his hand.

“Sweetness, I don’t know what to do to help you. All I can do is try to calm you down,”  Trigger said in a soothing voice.

Trigger felt her hand on his face and then move around to the back of his head. Her wet eyes searching his, Kayle bit her lower lip as she pulled firmly on his head to make him lower it.

“Kiss me, Trigger, please,” Kayle pleaded.

SMK Ch16 - I understand where Trigger is coming from but I also think he should talk to Kayle too. Kayle might feel lost when she wakes up and he’s not around. Hopefully they talk soon! ...
