Chapter sixty-nine

Freya’s POV

Holding her breath so that none of the guards following Caleb heard her, she pressed herself up against the wall, waiting for them to pass by.

Once it was safe enough, she let out a huge sigh of relief cursing Katherine.

Did that bitch have to go and die??!

She was to blame as well, as I hadn't realized the longer we fought that we were rolling toward the edge of the cliff.

Resting her head against the tree, she wondered just what the hell she was going to do now.

She took a step forward, but her senses were sharp as hell so she ducked her head quickly to avoid a stab to the throat.

Shit, I didn't see him coming!

She must not have hidden that well, because the guy found out her hiding spot..blocking a punch with her left arm, she threw one of her own too only to be blocked by the same guy.

They fought, throwing and blocking punches at intervals and it didn't take long for her to realize that they were evenly matched.
