I clenched my fists, my anger reaching a new level. "Are you sure someone didn't put you up to this, Betty? Accusing the queen of regicide is a grave accusation."

She nodded, still crying. "I swear, Magnus, I saw it in my visions. She poisoned the king."

I paced the room, my mind racing. This changed everything and put the case in a whole new light. Accusing the queen of such a heinous crime was not something to be taken lightly. But if Betty's visions were accurate...

No,I couldn't think of that.

First of all, I had to talk to Luke. I didn't relish the thought that he would be happy that he was right after all. Even at her words, I'll still need to come up with solid proof before taking action.

"Have you told anyone else about this?" I asked, trying to assess the situation.

"No, of course not. I would never, you know you're the only one I talk to." she stammered.
