Chapter Nine

Rose's heart pounds as she walks back home and witnesses her aunt sleeping with a man. The sight leaves her feeling unsettled, and she silently retreats to her own room, locking the door behind her. Seeking solace and a moment of respite, she washes her face, hoping to clear her mind.

As the cool water splashes against her skin, memories resurface, and her thoughts return to the incident at the locker.
