Jasmine’s POV

My eyes widened with the words she used and Alex was about to speak but I started first. “What are you talking about Bertha?” I asked her.

I wanted her to say how she felt about Alex already. She kept beating around the bush but it's was obvious to me that she doesn't like him as a brother but more like a lover.

“You are pregnant with another man’s child. Aren't you ashamed of what you are doing?!” she shouted at me.
