Chapter Sixty - Nine

AMELIA’S POV

Maxwell Moon was mine. The more I thought about it, the more real it became to me, and I grew more comfortable with it. We’d grown closer too. I reminisced about when we first met and how everything between us was purely sexual tension to how even after we crossed that threshold, I distrusted him, and then here we were; closer and in love. It was a dream come through. I had Max on my side.

Max was handsome, Max was intelligent, Max was kind, Max was thoughtful, Max was caring, and Max was a woman’s magnet. No matter where he went, people are always looking at him because he’s too handsome, and this amazing man was mine. The thought of it did something to my inside. It excited me.

My parents walked towards me side-by-side and hand in hand. They were both very good looking people. I smiled at them and waved them over to the seat. They took a seat, and then the conversation began.
