Chapter 14

Ella’s head was aching badly when she woke up. It was as if something big was sitting on her head. She tried to get up but couldn’t do it. She turned herself only to find Dan sitting on the ground with his head on the side of her bed, sleeping peacefully.

Unknowingly, she had a smile, looking at his face. She brought her fingers into his hair and started ruffling it slowly. It made her think of the old days when everything was not perfect, but it was not at least this complicated.

When she felt him waking up, she removed her hair from his and pretended to be asleep.

Dan was feeling better when he felt her hand on his head. After a few more minutes of this pleasure, he decided to officially wake up but found Ella pretending to sleep.

“I know that you are awake, Ella.” He rolled his eyes while smiling.

“I was not pretending to sleep. I just woke up.” She bites her lips.

“Yes, that’s why there was a ghost hand in my hair.” He stated, stopping himself from laughing out loud.
