CHAPTER 25: NO PLANS

Talon’s P.O.V

I had no plans of leaving the hotel. I wanted to spend more time there. But, I just couldn't stay since Vince had bluntly refused to keep his damn mouth shut. He wanted to know everything going on.

I had no other choice than to play along for the time being. Naya and I were not going to spend forever in the hotel after all. So, we had to boost our acting.

“Hey, Naya,” I said to Naya. “I know you love to listen to only yourself. But, please I don’t want you to join any games. We’re just going there to pass time and make Vince less suspicious.”

“I know,” she said.

“You have to do as I say. Remember what happened in the Lounge last night. It was too embarrassing.”

“I’ve heard you. I’m not deaf.”

“I’m just letting you know. I’d get you killed before sunrise if you do otherwise.”

“Talon, do not threaten me.”

“Just do as I say. We won’t have issues if you listen to me.”
