CHAPTER 42: FIX THINGS

Naya’s P.O.V

Talon had every right to be mad at me for not telling him who Kael really was. I was wrong for keeping it away from him. I had to fix things myself. I got into such a messy situation and only I could really bring myself out of it. So I thought. Meeting Kael for a heart to heart talk was totally out of the options I had to fix things. I didn’t want to set my eyes on him, ever.

Talon was at the office. He was supposed to have a meeting at work. I wanted to speak to him, but I lacked the courage to. I didn’t want us to go into our usual sad mood. It was as if speaking to him was a readiness to argue, shout or cry. I was prepared to leave the building and cancel my plans of talking to Talon.
