CHAPTER 45: MY DAUGHTER IN-LAW

How did this even happen? Who did such evil to my daughter-in-law? I watched the nurses as they were all in a haste to get her body into the emergency room. I stood with my mouth wide open. Was she dead or just unconscious?

If she was alive, I couldn’t imagine the pain she was feeling. Her husband was lying on the bed still in the process of recovery, and now she had to go through such pains without him by her side. The nurses where running here and there, I couldn’t pick out any of them to talk to.

Thirty minutes later, the doctors and nurses came out of the theatre. I approached one of the nurses. She was a blonde beauty. A tall lady with a shiny bright colored skin. She looked smart in her uniform. We moved to a corner to avoid gaining too much attention from passer-bys.

“Hello, nurse,” I said to her.

“Hello, sir,” she responded calmly.
