CHAPTER 52: IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME

Greta’s P.O.V

I made the greatest mistake in my life when I let Talon out of my reach. I regretted my actions. It should’ve been me and him and not that ugly witch, Naya. The humiliation I received from Talon was not something I was going to let slide.

I paced around my apartment restlessly. There had to be a way to clear out Naya of the picture and take what rightfully belonged to me.

Talon was mine. He approached me first. I couldn’t figure a way to get her out of the picture even after I spent hours trying to figure things out. I picked up my phone from my couch where I had left it while I was deep in thought.

The first person that I thought of calling was my brother. I believed that he could help me out. He was a true gangster that always helped me do most of my dirty jobs. I dialed his number and he picked at the first ring.

“Hello, big brother!” I said. Calling him ‘big brother’ was my way of convincing him to do things for me.

He loved it when I addressed him like that. I g
