CHAPTER 59: GRETA'S VOICE

Naya was badly bruised. I realized that after a doctor took care of her wounds. I was angry at myself for not getting there on time to help her.

If I had been able to get her from the kidnappers earlier on, she wouldn’t have gotten so much injury. I was sulking when I received a phone call. I confirmed the caller to be the same unknown number of the kidnappers.

I moved to a secluded area in the hospital and answered the phone call. I didn’t want to disturb Naya. She was unconscious.

“Hello,” the kidnapper said. He seemed to be the head of the others. He was the one who always called.

“Hello,” I said.

“How could you kill my men?” he said in a high tone. He was angry.

“I didn’t mean to kill your men. They tried to break our deal. We had a deal to exchange the money with Naya’s freedom, but they did otherwise. You even promised to return my wife to me untouched, but yet I found countless injuries on her skin.”

“Is that enough reason to kill my men?”

“I had no other choi
