CHAPTER 46: FRAGILE

Talon’s P.O.V

One week passed and I was finally free to leave the hospital. I wasn’t given the full details of what happened to Naya but somehow I found out how fragile she had become.

She didn’t want anyone else but me to touch her. The doctor revealed to me that she was traumatized. I had a hand carrier around my neck due to the fact that my neck bone got broken during the accident at the office building. My personal chauffeur drove us home. It felt good to be home with Naya by my side.

Despite how tired we both were, none of us fell asleep even till evening. We were both lying on the bed, backing each other. I turned to face Naya who was still backing me.

“How are you doing, Naya,” I asked. Those were the only words I could utter at that time. I knew she wasn’t sleeping because I could hear her practiced breathe.

“Fine,” she said. She turned to face me and then she sat on the bed. All her focus was placed on me.

“Are you sure about that?” I asked with concern.

“Yes. I guess I am.
