Hayden's POV

I sat down beside Sarah, staring at her and watching her sleep peacefully. I had been there for a while now.

I rose up on my feet afterwards, but when I turned to leave, she opened her eyes and called my name.

"Hayden." I heard her voice.

I was happy she was awake, and since I knew she was still in a lot of pain, I leaned towards her and helped her sit upright on the bed.

"Are you alright?" I questioned immediately.

She nodded her head, "How long have I been asleep?" She questioned.

"Since yesterday, but the doctor said you need a lot of it."

"What about the company? And Stacey? I've been away for too long, Hayden."

"Stacey's taking care of everything over there. Ray's over there as well." I replied.

She heaved in relief,

"Thank you so much."

"How do you feel now?"

"I'm fine. Strong enough to walk on my own now." She replied.
