**Alexander’s POV**

“We’re here.” I heard my driver say from the front of the car, and even though I had heard him clearly, I didn’t move.

I watched quietly as everyone stepped out of the convoy of cars up front, including Chad and his father but I still didn’t try to move. It was like there was a special force holding me down, restraining my movements.

I literally began squirming in my seat when I noticed Chad walk towards my door, and then stopped right in front of it.

“Are you about to change your mind?” He asked, looking at me with curiosity in his eyes and from where he stood outside my car, I could see every expression he made.

I was afraid. I sensed it. It was fast gripping my heart but I didn't know the reason. I assumed it was the vicinity I was in.

It was the environment producing the fear.

“Alpha…?” He asked a little more impatiently this time. I could also notice his father up front, standing but not saying a word.
