Tunnel attack

**Alexander’s POV**

“Isn’t that a bad idea?” Chad voiced almost immediately. From the look on his face, I could see the worry and the fear gracing his features.

I was also worried, worried about myself and every member of my clan. I was worried for Emily too but the seed of vengeance that had been sown in me was too massive, too strong to be swayed by two doubtful worried men.

“I do not think it’s such a bad idea.” Chad’s father answered in my stead. He also had this forced look in his eyes that I hadn’t seen in a long while, it made him look ferocious; vengeful even.

“Father!” Chad snapped incredulously. “I understand that you are both haunted by the things these people did to you in the past, but doing this now is like putting every single member of this pack in danger!”

“I know!” His father snapped back, “we’ll only be putting ourselves in danger and not them. They’re a secret magical tunnel we can hide in!” The way he talked, and the fierceness in his eyes all seemed foreign to me
