Blessed with a monster

**Emily’s POV**

Hot tears kept pouring down my eyes in high torrents even as I sprinted through the grassy field to my old bunker.

I felt worse when I ran past a young couple making out under the bright silver rays of the moon.

The moon Goddess blessed everyone else with a mate and gave me an unfeeling monster!

I shut my door as soon as I ran into my room and allowed the torrents of tears to flow freely.

I felt used.

Embarrassed.

Irritated.

And most of all, anger. I wasn't really mad at Alexander for using me like that, I was mad at myself because I knew exactly what he wanted.

Even before it started, I should have put an end to it but I let him have his way.
