My past

**Emily’s POV**

I smiled to myself for the remaining hours of the day.

Even Ariel was as excited as I was. She mentioned she might have had her first real encounter with Alexander’s wolf. But she wasn't certain and was only joyous as Alexander rescued me.

I sighted him coming towards me and I waved at her. "The Alpha wants to see you, Emily."

“What for?” I asked, feigning confusion. I didn’t want to give my overly excited state away.

“I don’t know,” she answered, picking at her nails, “He only asked me to send for you.”

“Uhm okay!” I squeaked out.

I was kind of excited and nervous at the same time. I didn't know the reason Alexander wanted to see me. But, I hoped it wouldn't be awful.

I noticed the pointed look Mary tossed my way, but I ignored her and focused my attention back on what I was doing earlier— mopping.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?!” She shrieked at me, making me look up at her in shock.
