YZMAEL had to take his steps slowly so I wouldn't get left behind. Rain was heavily pouring already as we made it to the house. He stopped by the door, but when he realized he wouldn't be able to get in without Roam inviting him, he sighed and looked at the porch.

"We're gonna have to get him inside through the bedroom's porch. I can climb up but you're gonna need to drag him in. Do you think you can do that?" he asked, worried about my ankle even when he, too looked ragged. 

I bit my lower lip and looked at Roam with a heavy heart. My tears wouldn't stop falling as I blamed myself for what happened. It was my fault why he was like this now. Dragging him in with my ankle swelling was the least I could do.

I looked at Yzmael again. Wiping my cheeks with the back of my hand, I took in some air before I nodded. "I'll open the porch's door and prepare the blanket. I won't be able to carry him to the bed so might as well make the floor comforta
