Chapter 21: A plan to leave.

Lucy's POV;

I have avoided exchanging words with my step family ,because honestly it wasn't worth it.

They always steal from me and I always let it go, but they still show no remorse and continued stealing from me when I was out of the house each day, busting my ass working just so I could provide for my son.

I didn't own much, so our things were fitted in two luggages.

I made sure to only take the essential things I needed, the rest of it I just left it in the wardrobe. If my step family wants to take it ,it's their business.

Since I know I can't do anything to them ,it was best I leave. The next morning ,my plan to leave began.

The first thing I did was to take Danny to kindergarten and then I headed to Mr. Desmond's company building.

He told me that he needed to interview me, so I took a cab to his company building.

Upon arriving at the company building,I got to understand that Mr Desmond is actually filthy rich ,so it made me wonder why his son was going to an ordinary kindergar
