Ariana's POV

"Henry!" I called out cheerfully. "Have you found your second book yet?"

Two minutes after Henry and I had started finding the books on our list, I had devised a game for us to play while finding the books. Since none of us has found even one book yet -Henry had been right when he said the books took long to find- I decided that we should play a game in which we would try to find all of our books first, and whoever won would get to pick what they wanted from the other person. It was a risky reward because I didn't know what Henry would want from me after our near kiss but I was determined to win. I couldn't let him win because I had a goal in mind. I already knew what I wanted from him and I pictured the smug grin on my face when I finally asked him what I wanted.
