Sarah scoffed for the umpteenth time.

I knew I deserved all of the reactions, I never knew myself that I would be able to come up with such a juicy lie.

Never underestimate the effect of the adrenaline rush. I was glad it saved us both our faces at the very least.

"What the heck? Can you just listen to yourself?” She asked with a pissed-off tone.

“Common, like I said, it's going to be perfect.” I reminded her and hoped she wouldn't jump out of this trap.

When I get her right in the middle of it, I would ensure to never let her slip off my grasp.

“In what sense? We both know this is some cheap plot to get us in close proximity, and I'm not falling for it.” She kept her eyes wide open and continued in her banter.

“Not completely, look,” I sat on the table in front of her. "My grades are falling, in biology courses to be precise, and I truly need this private tutoring to not be bullied.”

“You see, you can't even believe your lies.” She mocked me openly.
