I pulled over, turned off the ignition of the car, and took a deep breath as I took in a moment to compose myself. staring out the window, I pulled the door handle and slid out of the car seat.

I held on to my purse, as I tried forcing a smile at the girls that approached me.

“Good morning Miss Sarah!” One of the girls greeted me with a smile as she and her clique of friends walked past me.
