“And what could that be?” I asked curiously at my reflection in the mirror.

Robyn stayed silent for a couple of seconds and then cleared his throat.

Silence wrapped around us afterward as I realized he wouldn't talk. I waited patiently to hear him talk but he didn't.

After a couple of minutes of listening to nothing from both ends, I finally decided to talk.

“Robyn, say something,” I said.

“It's meant to be a surprise remember?” He responded.

“Where are you?” Robyn asked.

“I…” I stuttered as I glanced at Ryan from the corner of my eye, as he lay still in bed probably fast asleep.

I stayed quiet, pretending that I didn't notice he had asked until he asked again.

“Sarah, are you there?” He asked.

“Did you just ask about my whereabouts?” I asked pretending like I didn't hear him ask.

“Are you busy?” He asked.
