Chapter 44:

SARAH

Being completely sober in a room of drunken laughter wasn't as bad as I thought. I lay on my couch feeling completely drunk holding the bottle of tequila in my hand as I lay there lazily.

It had been a while, and Ryan and I decided to stay in for drinks. I could recall the last time I had such a tipsy experience was the night I Was out with Kathryn.

“Want more?” Ryan asked walking over to meet me by the couch as he sat next to me on the couch.

I giggled the minute our eyes met, as I could feel the heavy impact of the tequila banging in my head.

“You want me gone?” I asked teasingly as I had my hand over my neck in a horizontal way, demonstrating the cut-off sign.

Ryan couldn't help but giggle as well as I made such funny gestures at him.

“Crazy right?” He asked smiling at me.

“Funny how you have only had five shots of this and you seem gone,” Ryan said, and just when he did, I couldn't help but laugh as well.

“I'm so full that I can't even feel my eyes,” I said holding my hands
