Let’s Terminate It When We Can

Orian had arranged for a young female doctor for Eulalia, a 25-year-old named Sarah. With a doll-like face and her long, soft hair styled into a bun, she looked youthful and radiant. Her skin was so smooth it made you want to pinch it.

Eulalia’s first impression of Sarah was that she was a cheerful, bubbly good girl. But after ten minutes of conversation, Sarah hadn’t cracked a single smile. She was surprisingly reserved.

Upon learning about Eulalia’s pregnancy, Sarah said with a straight face, “Your body isn’t fit for pregnancy right now.”

Eulalia looked at Orian, puzzled.

“Looking at him won’t help. You know your body better than anyone. Whether it’s for the child or for you, you shouldn’t be pregnant. You should consider terminating it,” Sarah said, listing several reasons, more and clearer than Eulalia had thought of herself.

“Don’t blame me for being blunt. I’m just stating the facts. It’s up to you.”

Sarah was so straightforward it was almost scary.
