He shouldn’t have imagined her lying naked on his bed. She shouldn’t have imagined his devilishly handsome face between her legs. But it was too late. Kiara began noticing Ethan's washboard abs when he hopped out of the pool, dripping wet after swim practice. Ethan began gazing at Kiara’s golden skin in a bikini as a grown woman instead of the girl next door he grew up with. That kiss should have never happened. It was just one moment in a lifetime of moments, but they both felt its power. They knew the thrumming in their veins and desperation in their bodies might give them all they ever wanted or ruin everything if they followed it. Kiara and Ethan knew they should have never kissed. But it's too late to take that choice back, so they have a new one to make. Fall for each other and risk their friendship or try to forget one little kiss that might change everything. PREVIEW: “If you don’t want to kiss me then... let’s swim.” “Yeah, sure.” “Naked.” “What?” “I always wanted to try skinny dipping. And I really want to get out of these clothes.” “What if someone catches you... me, both?” “We will be in the pool, Ethan. And no one can see us from the living room.” I smirked when I said, “Unless you want to watch me while I swim, you can stay here.” His eyes darkened, and he looked away, probably thinking the same when I noticed red blush creeping up his neck and making his ears and cheeks flush. Cute. “Come on, Ethan. Don’t be a chicken...” “Fine.” His voice was rough when he said, “Remove that sweater first.”

First read the book for the romance, but after that I have to say this is a brilliant work. The writer has done an excellent job about the FL struggles with anxiety & depression. And the ML is not an angel himself, they both have flaws but that’s what make the book so relatable & hv many nuances

1: Eiffel Needs to Cool Off
PART ONE“Kiara? I just took a fart on the heart.”Chapter 1: Eiffel Needs to Cool OffEthanIt was all happening so fast that my only focus was the Skittles in the fishbowl, tempting me to steal the whole bowl away and cry while binge eating them.“Well, he started pushing me and saying all the words. What was I supposed to do?”“Not punch my dk.”“You deserved it.”“You are such a bich.”“Suck my cut, you asshole.”Knowing Liam, he would have accepted her crude remark and fantasized about it.I closed my eyes. This was not happening on the first day of senior year. But it is. My two best friends—no, my best friend and my ex-best friend were fighting like teenagers who just learned to use cuss words.“Ms. Sharma and Mr. James, please refrain from using swear words in my office,” our principal, Mrs. Inez Cooper, said, giving both of them a stern look. They shut up, glaring at each other while I slouched in the seat, rubbing my forehead. This all started after our morning swim practice

2: It’s Just a Phase
Chapter 2: It’s Just a PhaseKiara“So, if this dude went from up here to down here, what will be his position?” Mr. Sulkin, our physics teacher, asked, tapping his black marker on the whiteboard. Several heads went down, the sounds of pencils and pen scribbling on the paper surrounding me with the occasional clicks on calculators.I noticed Katherine, my good friend, pass the calculator toward me. Her green eyes were glinting with mischief. I took the calculator from her and she wriggled her eyebrows. And at that moment, I knew she was thinking the same thing as I was.Sixty-nine.I coughed, ceasing the bubbling laugh, and shook my head at my immature friend.I met her in kindergarten and knew that the blond girl who was threatening a mean bully would make a great friend. That day, she saved Rio from getting bullied and I gave him his glasses back. Ethan had glared at the bully and his friends from the book he was reading as if daring them to make a move. It’s safe to say that he had

3: Taking Farts on Heart
Chapter 3: Taking Farts on HeartEthanOne thing was clear, Kiara was acting weird. She was fidgeting with her T-shirt in my room to take me God knows where and the way she couldn’t look me in the eyes, I knew something was wrong. Why was she so nervous? Is it me? Wait, do I stink?I frowned because I had showered after the practice and did apply cologne and deodorant. I didn’t stink. Then why was my presence making her nervous?I was about to ask her if she was feeling uncomfortable around me when the car came to a stop. She changed the gear and grinned at me with her wide brown eyes with flecks of gold shining in them. Her eyes were so beautiful. And just like that, I forgot all my worries.“We are here!”I smiled and couldn’t help my eyes when they dropped to her brother’s T-shirt and the denim shorts that gave me a perfect, gorgeous view of her golden legs. Shit, I really couldn’t stop staring at her. Her face, her fumbling hands, her dimples, her eyes, her hair, the cute little m

4: I Need to Get a Grip
Chapter 4: I Need to Get a GripKiaraIt had been two days since the night at the farmhouse. The night where I was drunk and alone with Ethan. That wouldn’t make me nervous daily, but it was making me nervous because we almost kissed each other. I almost kissed my best friend. My best friend.Damn it.I stumbled into someone and muttered a quick sorry. I had been zoning out all day, thinking about Ethan and that almost kiss. I could feel the way his warm hand cupped my cheeks and the spicy, musky cologne when he leaned closer, his eyes a turmoil of emotions. I shook my head to erase those thoughts. It didn’t happen and I should be thankful for it.But why was a part of me disappointed and sad?A strong hand held my wrist and I stopped to look at the person. Clenching my jaw, I followed him as he dragged me to the nearest empty classroom.“What the hell are you doing, Liam?” I asked, rubbing my wrist when he let go of me, slamming the door behind us.His stormy gray eyes were livid. “M

5: Kiara Explains the Gender of the Chicken
Chapter 5: Kiara Explains the Gender of the ChickenEthan“Kiss me,” Kiara whispered, my eyes dropping to her soft lips and wondering how they would feel against mine.I knew she could feel me poking against her inner thigh when I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer, my hand lingering on the curve of her as. But she didn’t complain. She is my best friend. This should be so wrong, but it feels so fking right.I licked my lips and her cheeks reddened when she felt Eiffel twitching with desire when our nked bodies pressed against each other. The sane part of my brain was scolding me to pull away from her and go back to complete my calculus homework. She was Kiara Sharma, for fk’s sake. The girl I considered as my best friend. But holding her naked body against mine was far better than anything I had ever felt, and I knew kissing her would feel much better. So, I did just that.“Screw it,” I muttered under my breath, feeling her warm breath on my lips when we both leaned clos

6: Heroes aren’t Real
Chapter 6: Heroes aren’t RealEthanPrunh! Prunh! Prunh! The sound of a horn echoed around the pool and all six of us dove in the cold water with a loud splash. I closed my eyes as water wrapped around me and it felt like reuniting with a good old friend.“Come on, Ethan. Move, move, move!”I smiled hearing her muffled voice under the water and followed her commands. I kicked my legs faster and stretched my arms as far as I could.Kick. Push. Swim. Faster. Kick. Push. Swim. Harder. The rippling and thrashing of water surrounded me every time I moved my body farther and farther. I could see Liam surpassing me with more speed and more agility than me and anger boiled in my veins. It turned into adrenaline and I pushed my body harder, trying to beat him in this round.“Hey, would you mind if I joined you?” I stopped kicking my legs in the water and looked up at the blurry blond-haired boy with superman tee and pink cheeks.I removed my swimming goggles and wiped the water from my face. His hands were shaking.I covered his palm with my hands. “I will when the time is right.”He took a shuddering breath, his gray eyes glinting. “Please, Kiara. 8: Square Root of 1369
Chapter 8: Square Root of 1369EthanThe air around us changed as soon as those words left her lips, the ones I had savored, bitten, and kissed moments ago. The temperature of the room increased and I could make out her petite body, leaning against the door. Her warm puffs of air brushed my neck and I watched her skin flush, her chocolate brown eyes fixing me with a sultry gaze. So, I was not the only one thinking about getting naked and playing around with each other’s bodies.I forced myself to remember why I had pulled away from her when she had moaned my name, begging me to go further while I was getting hard just by kissing her. I didn’t want her to regret this tomorrow or regret kissing me; her best friend. If we crossed this line, which was already crossed after skinny-dipping and kissing each other, I didn’t know where we would stand. And losing her as my best friend was scarier than anything else.Would she still want to be my best friend after this?“What did you just say?”

9: His favorite slushy
Chapter 9: His favorite slushyKiaraMy eyes widened hearing his words. His eyes were darker than forests and deeper than the ocean. His hair tousled by all the tugging I did, his lips swollen from all the kisses and the glint in his mismatched eyes was enough to make me come again as my stomach coiled at the sight of his handsome face hovering above me.Ethan Kane was art. And I felt like painting his portrait with different shades of black, sapphire, and emerald. This is my orgasm hazed mind talking.I gulped nervously. “Come again?” Pun intended.Ethan let out a soft chuckle. A shiver of chill slithered down from my body to my core. “Let me buy you dinner first.”I licked my lips, enjoying the attention he gave them. “You already did.”His lips curled at the corner and he leaned down, nipping at the skin on my neck. My breath labored when his manly, musky scent surrounded me. He pulled away to gaze at me as if he knew how much he was affecting me.“So, is it okay if I do this?”Eth
