Chapter 1

She bent over to get a better look at the beautiful tears on the cake she knew she had no choice to decide on. It was buttercream. Her fiancé’s favorite flavor. She hated it but with a sigh she leaned up and caught a glimpse of the devils cherry teared cake. This was more her, the chocolate and cherry's was making her mouth water.

The door opened causing her to sigh. She knew it was probably her sister and she didn’t Need to see her unhappy. The person that walked in however was far from her sister. He wasn’t even in to buy a cake but his eyes where set on one.

“What do you think Desiree?” The way the name came out of the women’s mouth had him almost fall. He however caught himself before he did. Such a beautiful name for his girl. He slowly walked closer as he breathed in the most intoxicating scent ever. He looked over to  the chocolate cake and seen it was encased so he knew it wasn’t it. Looking over he caught the blue eyes of his existence. There she was looking at him, something telling her to grab him.

“Its perfect,” Her words having double meaning. Something that startled her. She was about to get married and there she was eyeing another man. She ripped her eyes from him and on to the cake the other women was now standing in front off.

“I know it is but what surprises me is there is no chocolate on here.” The lady spoke with a small frown.

“Charles doesn’t like chocolate.” Desiree sighed. It was her favorite however and it did bum her out she wouldn’t have it on her special day. But he said butter crème and with him paying for the wedding what he said goes.

“A wedding is shared by two people coming together. Should both parties be happy with it?” The stranger spoke up as he kept looking at the chocolate cake. He was probably going to end up down the street at the bakery buying something chocolate for the night.

“Yes, but sometimes compromises must be made.” Desiree spoke up a little offended though she knew he was right. He smirked, his eyes came off the cake and fell on her beauty. Her brown wavy hair, plump pink lips, her natural blushed cheeks and long mascara lashes. Her skin was even with the hint of tinted moisturizer and she had the beautiful black cat winged liner on. She was perfect and his heart kept to her.

This man made her feel so many things she didn’t know what to do. She was getting married in a few weeks. But this man made her feel so much. He felt so right and they had only just met. He knew what he was doing to her. She may be human but she still feels the pull all bonds had. She was his and there was no way he would let her go through with this wedding. The only wedding she would be going to was there’s.

“I always thought the wedding was the day the bride made beautiful not the groom.” Drezic spoke gently as he fully turned to her. Her body was driving him crazy. Almost a hundred years of searching and here she is. It was taking everything he had not to pounce in her and take her away. Her head turned to him and he could see the pain in her eyes. Something was wrong. There was something wrong. Now that she laid eyes on the silver eyed master piece beside her she wanted nothing but him.

“I never wanted a wedding. He always did. Guess the rolls are switched now.” She smirked as she looked back at the cake. “Its perfect. Caroline.”

“Perfect I will have one made exactly like this then and delivered before you enter the hall.” Caroline smiled happily. Desiree nodded before she turned and began to walk away. He couldn’t let her leave, specially not after he just met her.

“I’m sorry if I offended you.” He spoke gently grabbing her shoulder causing her to stop and look at him. He put his hands up in fear he overstepped his boundary. She looked at him and sighed.

“I’m sorry, you didn’t offend me at all in there. I just have a lot on my mind.” She spoke not really sure why she felt so comfortable with him

“Maybe is it because your making a mistake?” He asked gently. She looked at him in horror though she tried to hide it. He was right. She was afraid she was falling for another guy. And that guy happened to be right in front if her.

“I don’t know.” She spoke defeated.

“Give me a week.” He spoke with a smile.

“For what?” She spoke confused.

“Give me a week, and I will prove your marrying the wrong man.” He spoke confident. His brother taught him that. He always told him if he put his mind to anything he could do it. He was going to prove she belonged to him.

“I cant.” She spoke taken back. She wanted him to prove it but how would she cancel the wedding. He paid for everything and even gave extra money to help support her family. She couldn’t say no to him.

“Then I will prove it weather you want me to or not.” He growled gently. He stepped closer and embraced her. She didn’t pull back as she felt comfort in this hug. Something she had never felt except in her sisters arms. She knew she should have. “My name is Drezic beautiful. Might be hard now but it will be the only name you chant by the end of the week.”

“Drezic.” She spoke gently causing him to have to hold her tighter or he would have been a puddle on the floor. The way his name came out of her mouth was glorious. Nothing could have sounded more beautiful. He let her go and walked away. He would find her again but first he had to find a place for the night. Desiree watched him go as her hear yearned for his touch. She couldn’t figure out why but knew it was only a matter of time before she would know.

“Desiree.” A beautiful voice sang causing her eyes to look over at the green gems of her twin sister. A smile lit her face and she knew why. She was out of the house. Something she never got to do often. Desiree didn’t care what her father said, she needed her sister through all of this. Of course he agreed to her but knew he didn’t like it much.

“Rosalie.” Desiree smiled happily as her sister wrapped her arms around her. She hugged back tightly causing Rosalie to be concerned.

“What’s wrong Desiree?” She aske quickly as she held her sister at arms length and looked her over. “Did someone hurt you.”

“No Rose I’m fine. I just met someone that seems to have turned my world upside down.” Desiree sighed. Rosalie gently placed a hand on her sisters shoulder.

“I am here Desiree, I will always be here if you need me.” Desiree looked up with a smile at her sister. She knew if anything where to happen Rosalie would be the first to help her. The two girls walked home, arms linked together.

Desiree didn’t think Drezic would be back for her. She thought he had left but he was right there the next morning. He was with her every move and showed her things that her fiancé never did. And to Desiree’s wonder he did speak the truth. In a week she fell for him more then her fiancé. She didn’t know what to do. She couldn’t go to her sister for this. She couldn’t got through with the marriage now that this man had stolen her heart.

“What are you thinking of love.” Drezic gently whispered in her ear. They where snuggling together watching the sunset. He had brought a picnic to which they had eaten and now just enjoying the weather. It was a warm summer night but not to warm. The gentle breeze was blowing as Desiree sighed. She was laying back on Drezic whom was leaning back on a tree. His arms wrapped around her just below her breasts. Her arms wrapped on top of his.

“How are we going to do this?” Desiree spoke. “he paid for the whole wedding and even some money was passed to us to pay Bill’s. My family cant come up with that kind of money.”

“I’ll pay for everything Desiree. You tell me the amount and I will take out the cash or e-transfer Him. I can even get him a check or bank draft. Whatever he feels comfortable with.” Drezic told her knowing he probably had more then enough to pay for the wedding and whatever Bill’s owed. He was even confident to say. “Then I’m sure I will even have enough to buy you the cake, wedding dress and venue you want with money for our new home.”

“Drezic.” She blushed as she looked up at him. He smiled stealing her lips into a passionate kiss.

“Told you baby give me a week and you will know my name. Now that you do I am never letting you go.” He smiled once they broke apart. “That means we get the wedding you want planned and executed, then we work on the house of your dreams and then we fill it with our babies.”

“Mhhh.” Desiree moaned as his lips found her neck. She cant believe a man would do all that for her. Chris wasn’t even willing to lift a penny more till years after the wedding. Said the house he lived in was fine even though it was a run down shack.

“Oh baby your happy.” Drezic snickered as he kept kissing her.

“I’m happy with you Drezic. But I fear what my father will do.” She sighed as she leaned away. “I have to go home and explain this all to him.”

“I’ll come with you babe. You shouldn’t have to do this on your own.” Drezic said a little concerned.

“I want you to so bad Drezic but you cant. I have to fight this one on my own.” She spoke as she rose. Drezic nodded respecting her wishes, something she loved about him. Charles never did any of this. He was sweet but never took her out, specially to fancy restaurants or even picnics. It was always fast food. He never held her hand, just slumped his arms around her shoulders. He never even kissed her unless behind closed doors. Drezic did, he held her hand and would kiss her knuckles. He would hold the door and ask if she wanted fancy food or simple. Drezic loved how she smiled and pushed to keep it there. When she laughed, it felt like the angels blessing. He didn’t care if he didn’t like anything she asked for he would do it. Drezic was always told your mate completes you, will make you feel whole and that was what she did. They did things together that the both shared a passion in. “Will you wait outside incase I need a place to stay.”

“Of course love.” Drezic smiled as he rose and pecked her lips before the packed up the picnic and began to nice walk home through the park. It wasn’t a long distance but enough to cause poor Desiree to lose some of her confidence. Drezic noticed and squeezed her hand gently. “You can do this pumpkin. You are a strong fearless women.”

“Charles blew up on me when I told him I didn’t think I was ready.” She gently spoke causing Drezic to get angry. He held it together though. He didn’t want to scare her or get into shit if his secret where to leak out here.

“This is your father. I’m sure he will be more understanding.” Drezic knew that wasn’t the case. He saw how there father treated them specially poor Rosalie. Drezic was never introduced but he felt like he knew her. Like she was important to him. He couldn’t tell why but he knew how important she was to Desiree.

“I hope so. Wait here please.” Desiree pleaded when they maid it to the last bench before the house. Drezic nodded as he sat down and watched Desiree run away from him. He knew she would be okay but what she would go through he would never be able to help.

“Dad.” Desiree called as she entered there two story town home. Her father was downstairs working on the other two children’s rooms. Desiree and her sister shared the room upstairs and then there parents room was there. He had been working on the rooms for a while and just recently finished them. Desiree got to see her sister have a good sleep for the first time in many years on a bed. She was forced to sleep in the closet on the floor with nothing but a pillow and blanket.

“Downstairs.” He called up to her. He cleaned his dust filled hands on his pants before getting up. He had just put the beds headboards together. His two children hand been sleeping with the mattress in the floor. Desiree smiled seeing him look her way. “Hi baby girl.”

“Dad I have something I need to tell you.” Desiree spoke as she took a deep breath. Her father had always been so good to her and she always did what he asked unless it came to Rosalie. That she put her foot down too.

“what is it pumpkins.” He spoke a little concerned now.

“I cant go through with this wedding.” Desiree said without even waiting. She got it off her chest and said it. She had to or she would have chickened out and she couldn’t do that to Drezic. She loved him.

“Excuse me?” Her father spoke after a few minutes. He swore he heard her wrong. Desiree knew he was not going to take this well and started to panic. Drezic could feel something wrong and wanted to run in there but he promise he would stay put.

“I cant marry Charles.” Desiree spoke up after she cleared her throat.

“And why not.” Her father was getting angry. His hands where now in fists.

“I don’t live him anymore. I have found another that treats me the way I should be treated.” Desiree spoke as she took a step away from her father. “He will pay for everything and even return the money to Charles. He loves me dad. He loves me so much.”

“Can he pay for our respect.” Her father snapped. His eyes fell on her as a smirk lit his lips. He knew no one could pay for there respect. It is something earned. “Never mind, I’m glad he makes you happy.”

“He does father.” Desiree’s smiled glad things went smoothly. “I will call everything and get things canceled.”

“I never said there wouldn’t be a wedding.” He spoke up stopping her in her tracks. She looked over at him confused. “There will be a wedding.”

“But father you just said you where okay with this.” Desiree spoke stepping closer.

“I am, you found love and I found a solution.” He spoke as he turned away and looked at his work.

“A solution to what.” Desiree spoke now concerned Rosalie was apart of this.

“My reputation.” He all but spat it as he turned back to Desiree whom now was as white as a ghost.

“no father.”

“You left me no choice. You wont marry him someone has to.” He snarled. “Other you marry him or she will.”

“You cant do this.” Desiree spoke breaking.

“I can and I will.” He said before turning.

“I’ll keep her safe. I will hide her from you.” Desiree said trying to protect the only thing she cared more about then the man waiting outside for her.

“I will kill her if she is not on that stage to marry him.” He spat. “And if you so much as peep any of this to her she is as good as dead.”

“No.” Desiree cried.

“Try me.” He snickered knowing he had them where he wanted them. Desiree collapsed to her knees knowing there was nothing she could do. Her father was sneaky and for all she knew he could have already poisoned her. She had no choice, Rosalie's bright future was ruined all because if her. “Now run along with you new toy. I have a room to finish.”

“This will back fire on you father. And that day you will remember all you have done to us and prayed you hadnt.” Desiree spoke the threat. Then she spoke the words that sealed his fate. “I curse it upon you.”

“Oh come on Desiree. Really. She will be safe. All she has to do is act like you and all will be fine. He loves you and you are both identical. We just have to get her some contacts is all.” He spoke up as Desiree cried. “Now come on. It’s a win win for all of us. She is safe in his arms, your safe in your lovers arms and I am finally rid of her.”

“Desiree.” Rosalie’s beautiful voice came through the door as she ran over to her. She dropped to her knees and placed a protective hand around her and helped her up. Desiree wanted to run to spill everything to her sister but his words still playing in his mind. She embraced her sister as the tears cascaded down her shoulder. Rosalie led them both to  there room where she sat them on the bed.

“I’m so sorry.” She cried over and over again as Rosalie rubbed her back. “Rosalie I love you so much. Remember that please.”

“I know Desiree. You have done so much to prove that to me. I will always remember that.” Rosalie smiled happily as she held her sister. “Now tell me what’s got you all riled up.”

“I have done something wrong. Something I cant fix Rosalie and I didn’t want to drag you I to it. You have so much on your plate as it is.” Desiree cried.

“When it comes to being at your side Desiree I will always be here. No matter how hard it gets. We are sister, warriors in war together. Two halves of a whole.” Rosalie smiled gently. Desiree smiled with her as she nodded.

“I have to go.” Desiree spoke as she got up.

“We can talk more when you get home.” Rosalie smiled happily as she got up to go make supper. Desiree walked with her down to the kitchen but kept going towards the door. There was only one man in the world that could help her now.

Drezic was pacing by the bench. He couldn’t stop this bad feeling inside him. He had to see her but he also had to listen. One of the things that made her happy. He couldn’t break it no matter how much this feeling was.

“Drezic.” Desiree cried when she was close. He looked up and ran to her with open arms. She was safe and that’s all that matters to him. He embraced her tight as she did to him.

“Well how did it go?” He asked hoping for a happy answer.

“I have just doomed my own sister to hell.” She cried. Drezic froze as he held her. He did not see that coming as he tried to comfort his mate. Nothing worked and it hurt him to see her in so much pain. They stayed together till the wedding where she demanded he take her away from all of this. Drezic didn’t want to but could not deny her.

“Are you ready babe?” Drezic asked as she watched her sister exchange vows with her ex fiancé.

“I’m so sorry Rosalie. Please forgive me. When in your time of need come find me. I will be stronger then and save you.” Desiree let her voice be carried by the wind to her sister before Drezic scooped her up and they disappeared from everyone.

‘I’m sorry I couldn’t find you Asrar. Please forgive me.’ Drezic gently spoke to himself as he turned his  back on everyone and everything other then the angel in his arms.
