Klaus PoVI’ve seen Axel transform more than a thousand times, yet, each transformation always manages to scare and fascinate me. He hunched down on all fours, but his knee didn’t touch the ground. The transformation started from his legs, which were firmly planted into the ground. Sprouts of hair grew on his legs, congealing together to form a brown-blackish fur. Axel PoV“At least the bastard knows how to savor his victory,” I groaned as I sat on the pallid floor of the dungeon.The battle flickered through my mind, but I instantly blotted the distasteful memory from my mind. Klaus PoVGood thing I paid attention a couple of times that Aurora was nursing injured people. She was not the pack’s nurse, but she was the next best thing to the nurse, and people often came to her when the pack’s nurse was busy of had her hands filled. I made sure she was safely tucked in bed before I locked myself in the study room. Having her come in unannounced defeats the entire purpose of stashing Lisa in the study.
