Chapter 41: How it all began

The rogue Alpha let loose his rage as he stormed about deep inside the forest.

"I gave you a simple order!" He snarled, eyes totally furious. "Take the girl away from the pack! Once you're out of the pack, the werewolves would find it hard to trace her. How dare you disobey my orders?"

The leader of the rogues that had kidnapped Diana bowed further until his head was touching the ground.

"Forgive me, Alpha," he pleaded. "We almost succeeded. We were so close to the borders of the pack, but then a dark witch attacked us."

The rogue Alpha froze and whirled around. His eyes blazed with rage. "What dark witch?" He asked coldly.

"We've never seen her before," the rogue continued in a shaky voice. "We couldn't fight against her. But, in the split second before she used her magic on us, I caught a glimpse of her face. There was a scar on her face. A large scar."

The rogue Alpha's eyes widened with shock. It couldn't be, he thought. She couldn't still be alive after so many years.
