"You know what the wolves did for us. They taught us how to hide. How to control ourselves. Turning our back on them would be like signing all their death certificates." I watched as my mate stood up to his father with ice dripping into his voice.

"They'll be fine." His father spat in a dismissive tone and Ace scoffed.

"You always said fight for what I believe in, and I believe in this. So with or without you I'm going to help them." Ace snarled and I shuffled my feet.

His father was quiet for some time before he sighed.

"You're right... So how are we going to do this?" His father said giving us both a look.

"Easy. Go to Clayton's and Katlyn's pack house. I'm sure they'll have one somewhere." I said speaking up.

"Do you know we're they are?" My mate asked giving me a long look. I closed my eyes and concentrated. Every vampire had a special power, mine was the sight. Ace's was teleportation. His father's was manipulation.

I let my mind's eye travel to the two wolves and I gasped.

"What is it? What do you see?" Ace's voice cut in and I opened my eyes.

"I know where they are. They're not alone, they have more with them." I said and Ace nodded slowly. His father hurried away before returning with two gallon jugs full of red liquid.

"Well if we're going to go we've got to have something." He said when Ace and I gave him a look. I giggled and connected my mind to Ace's showing him what I saw.

"Can you teleport us?" I asked and he nodded. I looked at the gallons.

"Are you sure we need that much?" I asked.

His father gave me a long look and said, "We're going to be around a lot of people Harp, better safe than sorry." He shrugged and I nodded.

"Well it's all up to you babe." I said nudging Ace and he gave me a smirk before wrapping an arm around my waist. He held his hand out to his father and grabbed his arm.

"Here we go." Ace said and we where whisked away.

I decided to give the story another twist.

I sat in the living room. Everything had gone pretty well. My hands tingled softly as I sat there on the couch. Outside I could hear murmurs of the many wolves socializing between one another. Suddenly a yell rang out and I hopped to my feet in urgency.

"What's wrong?" I called outside as I made my way to the door but everyone looked around in confusion.

"Someone was here but..." I person said and suddenly I felt a whoosh beside me and I gasped as three people appeared beside me. One was a female with dark hair and glowing eyes. A man stood beside her with glowing eyes and I soft look to his rather intimidating figure. An older man was beside them holding jugs of red liquid. I tensed as I smelled blood and the girl gave me a look whereas the man gave me a fanged grin.

"Vampires." I gasped and the wolves around us went into a frenzy.

"Not possible. They're extinct." Someone howled.

"Just because you cant see air doesn't mean its not there." The older man said and the younger one chuckled before offering a hand to me.

"We're here to help." he said as I hesitantly shook his hand. The girl, I'm assuming his mate, gave me a nod and shook my hand as well. Clayton came outside to stand beside me as well as the other alphas and lunas.

"We're going to help you since wolves helped us. One of your kind taught us long ago how to control our forms... wolves saved us, so its only right we help you as well." The young man said and dipped his head to us.

"Thank you." Clayton said as he looked at the vampires in mild shock. They nodded and looked around.

"So... where should I put the blood?" The older man said and everyone looked at each other.

Sorry it's short guys but I honestly couldn't think of anything.

Clayton paced around the room and I watched him with slight concern. It had been weeks since the nation found out about werewolves and tensions were escalating.

We'd got the whole vampire thing situated and they were given rooms along with the rest of the new-coming werewolves. Clayton had retreated to our room and when I came to see him he was discussing something over the phone. Other packs wanted to join our coalition. Now he just growled and paced.

I checked the time and sighed.

"Clayton it's three in the morning. Get some sleep." I sighed past a yawn. I'd just woken up from my hours long slumber and came to see why he still wasn't in bed.

"Katy even if we do fight... what will be the cost?" Clayton suddenly said as he abruptly stopped pacing. He turned to me and frowned slightly. I met his gaze and sighed.

"Clay there's bound to be some casualties." I said softly and he frowned.

"But they know our weaknesses Kate. They have tanks and machine guns. We have claws and fangs. Sure we can get our hands on some artillery but we need a solid plan if this is going to work." My mate sighed and I walked over to him. I slid my hands up his arms and gently rubbed his shoulders.

"I know but you need rest Clay... come to bed okay?" I pleaded softly as I looked into his eyes, studying his face. It had begun to darken under his eyes and unkept stubble littered his jaw. He looked so tired.

"Katlyn..." he began but my growl silenced him.

"Clayton. Bed. Now." I ordered and he raised his eyebrows but didn't object when I dragged him to bed. He flopped onto the mattress and sighed.

"Sleep." I said and started for the door. I needed a drink.

"Stay." Clayton groaned from the bed and I looked over and locked with his pleading eyes.

"Clay-" I started.

"I said stay!" He suddenly snarled and I backed away in shock. His eyes turned red but he blinked it away and gave me an apologetic look.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to snap at you." He sighed and said, "I don't know what happened I just feel so protective and... I can't explain it. Baby I'm sorry if I scared you." He said with a look of self loathing and I made my way toward him.

"I just wanted some Dr. Pepper milk." I said softly and he scowled.

"What?" He asked with a dubious expression and I held back a laugh.

"It's where you get some ice in a cup, then pour in your milk and add some Dr. Pepper..." I said softly.
