Chapter 107

Solana's POV

I stood in the room, gazing at him, but the pain in his eyes became too much to bear so I walked away and decided to leave his hotel.

I hailed a taxi and instead of heading to Dad's house, I asked the driver to take me to the cemetery where Mom was buried.

After a few minutes, I arrived at the cemetery. Taking a deep breath, I stepped out of the vehicle.

As I walked inside, I found my way to Mom's tomb after a short walk.

"Hi, Mom," I greeted, smiling softly at her tomb as I sat on the grass, not minding the dirt that clung to my pants.

"I'm confused," I confessed, letting out a soft laugh.

"I don't know what to do with my life anymore. Fear has consumed me, and I feel so lost. I have no idea where I'm heading or if I'm ready to accept him into my life. I know I love him. What I felt towards him didn't change, but fear is consuming me, and I can't figure out what I want. I'm scared to hurt him and to get hurt as well."

Tears welled up as I spoke, and I wiped them away.
