Chapter Twenty-Eight

HEAVEN

That was it.

I couldn't take it anymore. I had to leave, I couldn't take anymore of his insults.

"Have a great day asshole," I walked out of his office before he could say anything.

The stares and whispers were more worse than before. People openly pointed out me, making fun of me, it hurt.

My heart was squeezing from the pain of everything, his words, the stares and whispers but I didn't let it show. There was no way I was going to allow anyone know how much everything was killing me.

I held my head high as I walked through the hallway into the elevator- where I really wanted to curl into a corner and cry my eyes out- and even when I was walking out of the building.

I took a taxi home and as soon I was home I went straight to my room.

I stripped myself off my clothes and walked into the bathroom. I took a quick cold shower even though there was nothing I needed more than to soak in a warm bathtub but I knew that if I spent a long time in the bathroom I'd end up bawling my
