J’s POV

The ray of the sun emitting from the window blind woke me up, I stretched my hand expecting it to brush over Lance but surprisingly it was empty. My eyes snapped open instantly and I looked at the spaciously empty bed.

My brows snapped together and I got up sitting upright on the bed.

My thoughts reeled back to how I had coaxed Lance back to sleep after looking so worried. I had never seen him that way.

“Where could he be?” I thought.
