I enjoy being around her

Mark felt Lily’s head on his shoulder. He slightly turned his head and saw she was sleeping which amused him. “How can she fall asleep in just 10 minutes?” Mark wondered and turned off the TV. 

Mark was not moving at all from his position as he was afraid if Lily’s sleep could break by that. Mark carefully placed his hand on Lily’s nape and made her lay down on the couch there. “I shall leave, I guess,” Mark thought and stood up but, then he stopped. 

“Lily” he called out her name but Lily did not respond.

“What are you doing? Disturbing her sleep?” Mark’s other side of mind told him. Carrying Lily in a bridal style, Mark took her to the room, upstairs. Pushing the door, he walked inside Lily’s room and went to her bed. He gently put her down on the bed and covered her from the blanket, before switching off the lights.
