Lily opened her eyes as Mark told those words. “Do you think people do not love you?” Lily asked him.
“They do I guess but, I am not sure,” Mark replied.
“Your family members love you,” Lily stated. Mark chuckled which confused Lily. “So, the same logic of love applies there? You hear beats increase crazily seeing whom you love?” Mark questioned her.
“No, what are you saying? That is for two persons being in love with each other, romantically. Family love is different. Ahh, it is so difficult to explain to you. Okay, let say, for example, someone in your family gets injured badly then you might have been scared. Why are you scared? Because you love him/her,” Lily asserted.
“I don’t get scared. I think he/she got hurt because his/her own fault,” Mark asserted. Lily looked at him in disbelief.
“So, you don’t love them?” Lily asked.
