Chapter 32

Lucas drove back to his apartment with Josephine after stopping by a restaurant to eat. They both got down from the car and went to the apartment where Lucas pressed the code and they got inside. Immediately they got inside, Josephine could already feel that everything was back to normal and she has to face the reality that she was back to being single and there was no one for her.

To celebrate her first day after the wedding and how her life had become miserable, she decided to get an ice cream for herself, but when she pulled the fridge open, she met it empty. Josephine blinked her eyes and looked again to be sure if her eyes were not deceiving her. All her favorite junks were gone and the fridge was clean. Her senses suddenly told her who had took all of them and she groaned inwardly.

“Did you finish everything already?” Lucas spoke behind her and she quickly shut the fridge before looking at him.

I know right. It has only been five days, Josephine said in her mind before respondin
