Lindsey

I was surprised to see Alvis today.

After our last interaction, I thought he'd stop trying to talk to me, but here he was, standing in front of me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I need to talk to you, Lindsey."

"Now? I was getting ready for bed," I replied.

Alvis frowned. "Yes, now. This is important."

I nodded and motioned him inside. Something in his voice told me he wasn't kidding around. His eyes were dark, and I looked at his hand which was closed into a fist. What was going on with him?

"We can talk on the terrace," I said and led him there.

He hesitated before saying something, so I waited patiently. I wondered what was so important that he couldn't wait to tell me. I wanted to ask him some questions too.

"Who is Kai?" That was the first thing that came out of his mouth.

Ah, so Alvis noticed me spending time with Kai.

"Kai?" I repeated after him.

"Yes, Kai. Who is he?"

I wish I knew the answer. I've been wondering that myself. "I don't know."

Alvis'
